Chief1C 330 Posted November 26, 2009 When I became an EMT, only a decade ago, we had a Motorola Tele-Radio, or dial encoder in the back of the ambulance. Along with a four layer stack of push button med radios. Had to dial the PL to contact each hospital. I must say, it was a lot easier than trying to figure out which PL to turn on to reach each hospital. Sometimes you can get two on one, other times, nobody will answer at all. But they always answered when we dialed. Shame. Quote
