(Excuse me if this has already been posted somewhere.)

Interesting video of a cardiac arrest save in the U.K.

Don't want to be a hater, but I have to say that the quality of the CPR is really poor.

Good video. The CPR was kind of poor but the person looked to be a bystander. At least CPR was being done though. I am just curious why didn't try moving the guy like.. 5ft so they wouldn't be forced to work under the only obstacle for a few miles...

"Nothing could go wrong, the guys already dead.."

maybe because they stop cpr every 20 seconds?

very lucky they got him back

@Firemedi65: Ha ha! Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. They could've pulled the guy forward right away and made their lives a lot easier.

The bystander was doing some weird @$@!$# up CPR, but the EMT's did badly was well. They stopped compressions many times.

Take your gloves off if you're going to drive!

Otherwise, from a PR standpoint, I think it was a well done piece. Of course we're going to pick apart the finer details. That's only because we know what to look for.

I think this is actually an excellent training video.

There's enough right/wrong to pick out as a training exercise.

You see a dramatic increase in CPR quality between bystanding and EMS, even when bystanders where providing compressions instead of EMS (namely the police officer)

Excellent scene control. Bonus points for the bystanders already on scene holding the privacy sheets.

Good reassessment, including GCS.

OPA with the BVM.

Use of the scoop for extrication.

The physician near the end is briefing her team, which could be used as a good example of a hand off report.

Too much driving on the wrong (left) side of the road. :D

Gloves in the ambulance.

For the love of all that is good and holy, pull the patient forward!

Where was this?

No ALS at all in this area? They did kind of perform like a volly company. Does anyone know if this is the case? Not hating, just curious.
