  1. It was great to have you, and I'm glad that you liked the lab. We're already coming up with ideas for next year. The weather hates the CAP Lab. Every year it's something, whether raining, snowing, sleeting, icing, or just damn cold. By comparison, it's sunny and near 60 today. Makes no sense. Dust, I'm sorry you had to miss out this year. Maybe next year we'll come to your house, throw you on a Reeve's Sleeve in handcuffs, and bring you out. 'zilla

  2. That AFFF stuff is great! Say you had an inground swimming pool full of burning fuel, you could just pour a large cup on top, and it'll spread and cover the entire surface, snuffing out the fire. He got what he deserved. Kudos to the FD for firing him, thereby maintaining the integrity of the dept. In discussing unions, I've said that dept SOP's and GOP's should be in place to keep employees in line, and also to discourage/prevent sloth. The LT's firing is one such example.

  3. Like I said before, I have been told buisness degrees are the way to go. My question is why? I mean aside from running your own ambulance company, how does a business degree enhance your NREMT-p? As much as I like business, I do not think that 2 more years of business school will make me totally happy. Its a shame I have to wait to take my medic course, but I want to make the best of it.

  4. Shannon, Is there a difference, YES, but just worry about doing your normal routine.......Start bagging the patient as you would any other normal patient who needed an airway. This will be more than sufficient. JW
