Good day all, After a few searches, I haven't found any topics with this question so here goes. Has anyone out there returned to street work (particularly ALS in a high volume, urban 9-1-1 system) s/p traditional multi vessel CABG? If so, any thoughts, advice, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

I think the more logical question to ask is this, where do you want those secretions to go? Do you want them to drain out via the recovery position or to have the possibility of going elesewhere with this suspected perforated trachea or even back down into the lungs?

Just take your time, rule out one that you know is wrong right of the bat, do not read more into the question then it is asking you, Make sure you know OB/GYN, Medical emergency's, and ventilation rates, And you should be fine. I took mine on 7-29 and it was not nearly as bad as i thought it was going to be. How do you like the emt-national site ? That is what i used and the questions on there are twice as hard as the exam so if you are doing well on that, example on emt-national I was scoring in the 80's and 90's on all sets of questions and reading the rational on all the ones I got wrong and that helped me a ton, I was doing around 200-300 questions a day.. I think our young padawan is suffering from a case of "the not knowing what you don't know". This guy should scare the hell out of anyone that has a clue. He's septic with airway issues and has the potential to have a nightmare airway

No, they are robots I have seen a phycisian cry, a medic tear. It happens. After time you get used to seeing certain things. Sad but true. However there will be some things that will catch you off guard. . People without emotions aren't assets. I believe the word is psychopath
