What's on second and I don't know is on third.................... BTW he probably is having a heart attack...

All the above is being done by the NSW ambulance service. In fact they received ans international recognition for their LAPP /ECP program ant they have as Also received awards fro the implementation of pre-hospital thrombosis treatment of cardiac/ stroke patients

Just for the record PA and ACAP in NSW are different identities. PA didn't like the way that ACAP had a major input to things (even though ACAP was putting in most of the running capital) and disassociated.

My reply Kiwi - yep blue uniforms but we also have purple gloves....depends on which supplier sends them..... - old school stretchers....never used a sttyker in my time with them.....actually have been used to trial different types of ambulance designed stretchers - uni degree thing is/ was true but you will find most now have it - they are called protocols but they are in fact guidelines and we can vary their implementation if its justified....protocols is a carry over fromt he old days...makes it easy to understand (the old 3 P's protocol, procedures and pharmacology) - non transports is an option, infact the service has been recognised for the implemetation of the ECP and the CARE/ LAPP system of non transport guidelines and patient treatment (one of the first in the world) - yes it is NSW...the place more expat NZeders go to live. go figure (cant be all that bad to you guys, if you could afford to do it with your funny money)...... And Bushy...you studied in NSW, did ride along with the ASNSW, applied to join the ASNSW..but became a Mexican.....maybe it is you that needs a Phsyc consult.....LOL -

I agree with my little mate philip on this one............/ -
Is it a VF arrest....there was no mention of him arresting (but I may have missed it). Ho were it could be TDP.....very slight but could be read that way I assume. Still concur with you on most aspects though Kiwi......and they say "keen interest without intelligence"........might be wrong.
-
I concur with Kiwi to an extent,,,,,,,however I would have gone to a normal O2 therapy mask before the nasal cannula The patient states he should go to the hospital because apparently he is an a@@hole now.........FACT is he was an a@@hole before his wife called you..........
-
Awww, I could lower myself to have a beer with someone from across the dutch. Let us know I will even buy you one seeing that one NZed dollar is about .75 cents Aussie
-
And not to mention he is from across the Dutch in NZed

WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP.......... With that line of thinking, if there was an unconscious or very drunk young lady laying on the grass in a public park....I could strip her naked and lick her nipples.....becuse it is implied consent until she says otherwise..........isnt that why we are against date rape..........the consent cannot be give because the compentency or capicity of the person is in question.... whats the different for an injured/ unconscious person that is on a public street?
-
You need to get permission from the person in the photo, and media can take photos / video but the patient needs to be unidentifiable..........all works in theory, but in reality not always.........so I don't know how the papparizzi get around it. And in some cases the media taking the shot has a bad rep with the services and therefore do not get any assistance with photos/footage..Ala blocking view getting them moved away etc..
-
And you wonder why being a lawyer is such a demand in the states...the litigious capital of the world.......bet the paedofiles in kiddies playgrounds love that supreme court ruling
-
Pt has EVERY RIGHT. Just because they are laying on an ambulance trolley does not mean they have no right to privacy. It is wrong to photograph/ videotape someone without their consent...just because they are on a street does not negate this , even more so when they are sick or injured. Yes the fire chief overstepped the mark a bit but he's was doing as a patient advocate. How do we know the person behind the camera was not a habitual trouble maker etc... we only get to see his side of the story.........as he made the video......
-
Gee with all that goes on on the world and all the other thing we could champion to our causes...we get tied up on a minor thing. I agree swearing at the camera man is not a professional thing to do, putting your hand over the lens to maintain patient privacy is not a problem for me....... The chief should have gone about this in an completely different way. And just because the video camera is out side the "magic" police tape does not mean it is not invading the patients rights.

Seems to me, an outsider that is not an American citizen and lives in a country where gun ownership is a privilege and not a right.......... To have to own a gun to have the ability to protect your self from YOUR OWN GOVERNMENT....makes a mockery out of being a resident in the land of the free...............and that's my opinion as a Gun owner and Aussie citizen.

What? even to little old ladies that are in their living room feeling faint?
-
My way sound better............
