Just finished watching the dawn ceremony from both Gallipoli and Viller Bretonneux very humbling and moving both followed the telecast of the Sydney ANZAC march. Over 20, 000 marchers this year.... their numbers may be dwindling, but the march is getting bigger contingents from ALL over the world marched....so good

For the Aussies.......... Australians all let us rejoice, For we are young and free; We've golden soil and wealth for toil, Our home is girt by sea; Our land abounds in Nature's gifts Of beauty rich and rare; In history's page, let every stage Advance Australia fair! In joyful strains then let us sing, Advance Australia fair! Beneath our radiant southern Cross, We'll toil with hearts and hands; To make this Commonwealth of ours Renowned of all the lands; For those who've come across the seas We've boundless plains to share; With courage let us all combine To advance Australia fair. In joyful strains then let us sing Advance Australia fair! For the Kiwi's......... God of Nations at Thy feet, In the bonds of love we meet, Hear our voices, we entreat, God defend our free land. Guard Pacific's triple star From the shafts of strife and war, Make her praises heard afar, God defend New Zealand. Men of every creed and race, Gather here before Thy face, Asking Thee to bless this place, God defend our free land. From dissension, envy, hate, And corruption guard our State, Make our country good and great, God defend New Zealand.

In Flanders Field In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie, In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields. Lt-Col John McCrae They will not grow old, as we that are left grow old. Age will not weary them nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them LEST WE FORGET

Holden is the local GM brand....Holden was a coach builder back in the 30's and 40's teamed with GM to produce thr first 'Australian" car think of the latest pontiac firbirds the two door ones they realeased in the mid 2000's. it is based on the australian holden commodre monaro......but ours are better, they had to dumb them down and add sillky things for the us market...ie that stupid twin grille nose cone

Lets see............ No. 1 was a 1963 volkswagon station wagon then there was the toyota corolla liftback around a late 70's model followed by the (i think) the 1980's ford falcom XD s pack with manual transmission) after that came my late 80's Holden VL commodore 5 speed then my toyota Hilux petrol 4X4 then my first Nissan patrol wagon (petrol dx model) (written off by a truck that ran thru a stop sign) followed by mu Nissan GU Patrol wagon diesel turbo 5 speed ( again written off when it was smashed into by a drunk drive as it was parked in the street) and my current drive is a 2005 Kia Sorento EX 3 litre petrol manual that list doesn't count the cars that my wife has owned in the time we have been together either....... looking to get a new one this year though...................

lets see......... - dislocated knee - unable to gain mobility due to it - baby strapped in high chair - at home alone - husband comes and cannot do anything to assist - knee still dislocated - hospitalisation required to relocat kneecap - no pain relief avaiable at scene SO WHERE DOES THIS NOT QUALIFY AS AN EMERGENCY you required assistance and it was medical assistance that was needed. in most normal people's book that is an emergency. it wasnt like you had a splinter in your finger and didn't want to drive yourself to the doctor....... tell your friend she is talking out her A$$..........

only ewes then kiwi?...stay away from the ram......

as Sean Connery said in the Indana jones and the Last Crusade....... "let it go Indy....just let it go...." what good will it do now to make a deal of it? * Firstly you didnt take the original BP, you were told it was 220 sys * You were doing what was requested of you by a RN and Doctor * You are not responsible for the percieved inadequacies of other staff and the wat they treat the patient in thier job. * if you do make a deal out of this, what will the working relationship between you and your unit and the ER staff ad the ER end up being? with all this in mind, what do you hope to be the correct outcome if you make a complaint? will it make the way either you or your unit work different? Do you hope that the ER will then have to do what ever you guys tell them? If it is after the fact (I assume it has been a little time since the incident) it would be better to let sleeping dogs lie, but document it to you manager, for reference if something like this happens again
