    I made a short clip about Rural, Private, Non-Fire EMS... It was 24 hours long, but it can be summed up, in less than a minute. So, of course, I shortened it. Think NBC will pick it up?

    While I believe Stay & Play and Load & Go have their place in EMS. I have always felt closing the gap, meaning the time between the scene and ALS, with a bolus of diesel, is best for the patient. That may have been a poorly planned policy, set by uneducated minds. As some agencies have administrative officers with no medical insight.

    Can't say I've ever seen a cow skate, but I have seen them strolling down main street.

    Personally? Or what we see in patients? Personally.. I get more episodes of profound hypoglycemia when it's hot, prolly b/c it's diet controlled, and I eat less when it's real hot. In patients, respiratory illnesses.
