Exactly. Basically what I said in my first post on this subject. Law only brought up because of somebody saying leave it to Barney Fife i.e. the cop on scene if suspected abuse.

In Texas if you suspect abuse of children or elderly you must report it to protective services. Telling the cops or the doctor does not cover you.

I actually was called when off duty when a white patient claimed that my work mates ( all Mexican-Americans is that pc or what ) were racist for not wanting to transport. I went over saw the bs they wanted transported for and told them no in english and spanish ( for those that don't know no is no in english and spanish ). I was then called a blankin Mexican lover as we left.
