  1. What is patients LOC? If patient is alert and oriented can allow the patient to slowly adminster it to themselves. It is best to place it between the cheek and gum and allow it to dissolve and absorb. If patient is not alert can not give anything orally. Oral glucose can be administered rectally and is absorbed quickly by that means. After patient is A&OX4 if food available feed them so they do not crash. Next question: What is proper method of giving Albuterol nebulized?
  2. We already have PA's in the field we call them EMT's.  PA= Paramedic Assistant
  3. Wow now it is definitly a volly vs professional discussion.
  4. The procedures I recall reading about and mentioned in my reply to Ruff still had high incidence of serious injury to mother and baby. I know books mention attempting rotation of baby in order to slide shoulders through but I seem to recall sometimes that did not work and required more aggressive methods.
  5. Are you talking about collapsing the shoulders or breaking mothers pelvis? There were some big names for those procedures but that was basically what was discussed in one big book if I remember. But in the field its basically keep mother breathing and baby breathing which may require hold vagina away from face or keep it from squeezing on babys throat.
  6. OOPs forgot, this baby ain't coming out w/o a c-section. So care is supportive for mother and baby.
  7. Naw he's just a volly, not a professional.
  8. How about you try a little honesty crotch? Tell her the truth how almost all your posts end up being you trying to force everyone to agree with you even when you are wrong. The way many respond to your post is because of your own actions. As I already have said many of your discussions could have been good had you not started the my way or your wrong crap. Now you have to work to get any credability back. I hope you do learn a better approach.
  9. The exact amount produced by lightening.
  10. Looks like the KED wins.
  11. Rapid transport. May have to place fingers into vagina and form an airway, if able suction mouth then nose. May even need to provide supplemental oxygen. If way out at the end of nowhere this will be your longest ride ever. If head has protruded from vagina makes your job much easier. You also have to encourage mother not to push, which all the women says is tough.
  12. Now you can not play either.
  13. People also put coffee on cuts as a clotting agent.
  14. Did you not see the smileys?
  15. Sorry your opinion is wrong. There is much more than what appears with the crotch. He is like a snake, you cut his head off and he still bites. Many of his discussions actually could have real value if he would not bait everyone into his way or the highway.
  16. Nope some of you are not allowed.
  17. EVOC since when? Most I know have never taken any training for driving sadly.
  18. Congrats Doc and Mrs Doc. Did they give a discount since you delivered it yourself. Or are you scamming insurance and billed at the highest rate. Girls are the best then they become monsters, I mean teens.
  19. And as already posted by someone else a rolling code now is against AHA guidelines which is what a lawyer for the people that your ambulance hits will use to win a law suit against you and your service.
  20. Crotch I am sick and tired of your BS. What the hell are you thinking? Oh your not thinking as usual. Actually no one should be allowed in EMS before 40. They do not understand life in fact they are to childish and for that matter are idiots.
  21. Kinda gives you a warm fuzzy feeling. Of course so does the flu.
  22. Watch out or I'll get the Taxi Driver union after both of you.
  23. We often get calls and are told that the patient is ok now they just want them checked out to be sure. Or sometimes we're told the evil eye was stronger so they need more help and want to go. "In Mexico and Central America, infants are considered at special risk for evil eye (see mal de ojo, above) and are often given an amulet bracelet as protection, typically with an eye-like spot painted on the amulet. Another preventive measure is allowing admirers to touch the infant or child; in a similar manner, a person wearing an item of clothing that might induce envy may suggest to others that they touch it or some other way dispel envy. One traditional cure in rural Mexico involves a curandero (folk healer) sweeping a raw chicken egg over the body of a victim to absorb the power of the person with the evil eye. The egg is later broken into a glass and examined. (The shape of the yolk is thought to indicate whether the aggressor was a man or a woman.) In the traditional Hispanic culture of the Southwestern United States and some parts of Mexico, an egg is passed over the patient and then broken into a bowl of water. This is then covered with a straw or palm cross and placed under the patient’s head while he or she sleeps; alternatively, the egg may be passed over the patient in a cross-shaped pattern. The shape of the egg in the bowl is examined in the morning to assess success."
  24. OH shut up. We don't like you. Find a different forum.  Funny how time flys when your bored.
