Hey Guys, Just wondering if any of you Floridians have heard about the EMS Competition that Boca Raton fire department held last year. . . . Does anyone know if they will be holding it again this year? Any contact info would be really helpful too. Hey. . Thanks for the info. . . Medics just picked up a county contract to run 911 bls calls in one of our county districts which makes them the only ambulance company "on the front lines". . . i have my orientation today but everyone, amr and fire rescue alike, had the same feelings regarding that Medics is a step down from AMR. . . . I guess we'll see. . . Getting a little apprehensive about the situation. Thanks again!! Becca

Hey Ya'll, Anyone have any suggestions for dealing with rude "not with the program" students for whom you just want to bash there head in with a shovel? I have an ass in my bls/guard class that is nearly impossible to teach. . and i can't kick him out due to "Political ties". . . . Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!! Becca

Hey Guys, Here is one of my favorite T-shirts of all time. Although it isn't directly EMS, Down here in Florida you have to be double certed to get a job. . .
