I live in Austell, GA. and I am an Paramedic/Critical Care Paramedic working for a hospital based EMS service in Atlanta, GA. In addition to "Street" EMS I was previously a Wilderness EMT certified thru the Wilderness Medicine Institute of the National Outdoor Leadership School and was a Member of the Georgia State Defense Force in a Search and Rescue Company. I started working in EMS as a Wilderness First Responder in 2007 working for a Boy Scout Camp and got my EMT-Basic in October of 2007, then my EMT-Intermediate/85 in October 2008, completed Paramedic school in April of 2011, and completed the Cleveland Clinic Certified Intensive Care Provider (CICP) course in December of 2012 and started working as a Critical Care Paramedic. In my career I have worked in rural, suburban, and urban EMS services in both 911 systems and non-emergency/facility emergency transport, as well as Critical Care Transport. Other interests include backpacking, rock climbing, ice hockey, and such.
