Of course you are going to get stares when you hold hands with your man. You are also going to get stares if you kiss your man as well. i for one will look at you and then say to myself big deal. Now two women making out or kissing, then I'll stay all day and look. you must also be advertising your sexual orientation because I used to work with a Gay partner and never once did the parents of a little boy look at either of us with that "Don't touch his pp or you'll be sorry look". So I wonder why they look at you that way. Or is it that they know you and that you have done something that gives them pause? I seriously don't know you so I can't make any judgements as to that issue. And if you can prove bias or hiring discrimination based on that question then you should sue your second employer in a class action lawsuit bringing in all those who answered yes on that question and were not hired. You could probably retire on the settlement that you get for such blatant (serious statement here) discrimination. I for one do not want to work for a company that discriminates in that manner or any manner.

That is the issue guys, high school level English has taken a back seat to the texting generation that is in our high school's these days. There is a real and present reason why we lag behind in every single subject. My best friends wife is a math teacher in high school. She tells horror stories of kids who are seniors who can't put a sentence together to save their lives. She says she fears for our collective future. I'm also betting Dwayne, that if the history on this site is true, the OP will get offended and say that he doesn't actually talk like this in real life and for us to stop our criticism, that seems to be the overall responses from the new posters when their grammatical prowess is challenged. I will usually give a dollar or two to someone on the corner or I've even gone so far as to head to the nearest mcdonalds or burger king and buy a meal for the person on the corner. When someone has will work for food on their sign, has anyone here ever taken them up on their offer on the sign and had them come do work at your house or do you just give money?

I've been working personally with the OP on this. We have a game plan to help him pass the registry. It was the impetus for the Registry prep course I was going to start to benefit the emt students on this site and soon benefit the medic students getting ready to test.

I'm not against Gays doing any of the things you listed so for me your points are moot. But keep on banging that drum, the gay community needs people like you to keep the fires burning as well as keep some of the stereotypes going as well. Wow, CNN didn't have any of that in their story. I don't buy the doesn't qualify for insurance because there are insurance companies that will insure anything. And the trailer not meeting the fee that's hogwash because the rest of the homes and neighbors around them were also trailers. Too much not adding up but oh well. AT least they have some sort of a pragmatic attitude about this.

Bernhard, the policy is in the rural county area only. If your car or mobile home catch on fire in the city then the fire department comes since they are funded through the city. And I will bet that it is not an enjoyable feeling to watch this and not be able to do anything about it. I'm sure it's heart wrenching to see it. I have no answers to this other than if you own property in this county, pay your 75 bucks. You now have two nationally televised events on CNN and FOX that prove that the county will not put your house out if you don't pay the fee. If you are willing to take the risk then don't come bitching and crying that your house burned down. You knew the risk albeit a small risk, the risk was there. But in all reality by the time that the fire department really got there in most counties, your trailer would already be fully involved due to their flammable material and tinderbox design.
