There is no lawsuit in the making. There's no standing. The privace policy spells it o ut pretty well and I'm not going to post FB's privacy policy but there is a way to opt out. For every person who has said they've been hacked I will bet that you clicked on something that you didn't realize you clicked on. Have those of you who have been duped(so to speak), accepted an invitation or a application like farmtown, farmville, castleage or whatever other apps are on there? If you have then you have put your information out there for those unsavory like people to pounce on and go to town. I'm not saying that any of you did that but I've been on facebook since their inception and have never been hacked. I wonder why? It could be that I don't click on every link that I get in a notifications from facebook. I only play castleage on facebook and have stopped playing farmtown. What most people have been hacked by is those surveys and similar items that many people seem to go to and answer questions about their interests and likes etc etc etc. Don't accept any link from anyone on facebook. Do a search if you want to play their game or answer their survey. You never know whom you might become a target of. Ok guys here's how to change your privace settings in facebook log into your account click on Account at the upper right hand of the screen click on Privace Settings From there go to each choice and change your settings. If you don't change those settings then you are asking for trouble. The most important settings to change are the Applications and Websites setting. ok, one other thing To see all the applications or websits you have ever been to or have ever even accessed on Facebook. Go to facebook Click on Account Click on Application settings click on the Show drop down click on each of the drop down items and prepare to be surprised. I was. Especially take a look at the granted additional permissions item. You will see every item that you have ever given access to your facebook profile. This is really surprising. For every one of the items in that list, each of them still has access to your profile and I'll bet there are over 25-50 applications on that list. Very surprising. be safe and God Speed.

Well I just got done talking to Anthony via texts and he just lost his job over this. He says that "his resigning looked better to future employers than getting fired"(per his employer) I call Bullshit on those assholes where he works. They just told him that to not have to pay unemployment and I can guarantee that many of us on this site who know Ant would write him a glowing letter of reference to outweigh any bad reference that this shithole of a company would give him. Besides I believe that all they can say is that he used to work for them and yes or no if they would hire him again. Just another company who know that EMT's are a dime a dozen and they can get another one from one of the emt mills that are so prevalent these days.

The only one paddling my child is me. I don't give the school district carte blanche to strike my child. I don't remember reading that in the hand book. WE did send him to a private school who did believe in paddling but if parents opted out of it then the school calls the parent and the parent comes and gets their child. If they decide to ass whoop then so be it but no other adult touches my child - PERIOD. If they do then I press assault and child endangerment charges against them.

Don I apologize, I somehow thought you had been defending her all along. That was my mistake. When you have an attitude like that then it truly is only a matter of time. Be it firing or getting your ass kicked, it's just a matter of time.

Yeah that's right Don but how many of us have grumbled like that over a recorded line? I'd bet more than any of us knew but what she thought was an innocent comment to the dispatcher became her waterloo. If you say it then you mean it. No matter how you want to whitewash this, she made some inappropriate comments on a recorded line, this story became international news headlines and it was naive of anyone to think that this would not become something HUGE. Maybe she will learn by this and not speak like that again but I still stand by my original statements that this type of toxic attitude is exactly what any employer wants. She makes it sound like the patient was a burden to her and that's where I draw the line. ONe toxic attitude is enough to sour the entire bunch of grapes. And with a service with problems to begin with this attitude just festers until it is unleashed and very bad things happen. Do I wish anyone to be fired, nope, she's now one of the 9 of 100 who doesn't have a job but that's life and you go on, you grow up a little and you move on. Thats what you have to do.

why can't we go back to the good ole days of bringing them to Ole Doc Baker on the back of a horse drawn trailer. I'm sure the patients didn't suffer any more than the little girl in DC did, the reporter in DC did, nor the guy in the snowstorm. As a matter of Fact, I'll bet good ole Doc Baker would have made his way out in that snowstorm and performed life saving surgery on the guy in his living room by candlelight. Oh the good ole days.

Ok, you are gonna need ALS for the patient who is unconscious first. That will be their patient first. Is it a dual medic truck or a single medic/emt truck? Thsi makes a difference. Have the helicopters been called? I would after review, I would call 2 birds Bird 1 gets this one Rear seat passenger driver side, restrained, is unconsious head fully above water Bird 2 gets this one Front seat passanger is restrained and fighting to keep head above water. Make sure you get the front seat passenger out of the car first - as they are fighting to keep their head above the water. If not you will have a cold, dead popsicle on your hands.
