  4. So Gabby and I are shopping at a local Hyvee Saturday and we decide to have a little father and daughter breakfast there. We are just finishing up our breakfast and our attention is brought to a elderly couple. They start to talk to us and the woman asks Gabby if she likes dolls. Gabby says yes she does. The woman goes on to tell me that she makes hand sewn doll outfits and has over 200 dolls and gives them away to young girls and young boys if they like dolls too. We got to talking...

The village idiots at the healthcare exchange thats who. Now we have to get special approval to get a effective date of 4/1 since the website was down. Jeesh

  13. Another good one to see. Stream it live via this link. http://www.pbs.org/program/twice-born/ About the Program Step inside the groundbreaking medical frontier that is fetal surgery with Twice Born, a gripping PBS mini-series that takes an intimate, inside look at the Special Delivery Unit at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where rare surgeries are done on babies still inside their mothers’ wombs. <span id="imagePlugin_4929" "class="filer_image_container" style="display: block; max-width: 100%; width: 309px; margin-top: 5px; margin-bottom: 9px; margin-left: 12px; vertical-align: top; float: right;"> With exclusive access to the elite unit, (where the production crew was embedded for 15 months), you’ll live with the expecting parents who all face a gut-wrenching decision: should they take a leap of faith to repair birth defects with pre-natal surgery, even if it means they might lose their child? You’ll experience rarely seen, real-time footage of operations on the fetus. And, you’ll gain a window into the inner lives of an unusual team of doctors who have defied skeptics and chosen to pursue this high-risk/high-reward career path. Twice Born serves up both arresting human drama and astonishing medical science.
  14. i know not so much EMS related but this looks pretty interesting. http://rxfilm.org/?src=wnl_edit_specol&uac=113671AV In this inspiring 90-minute documentary, filmmaker David Grubin - the son of a general practitioner - takes his camera across America to focus on the challenges and triumphs in our country’s health care delivery system. The four segments that comprise Rx: The Quiet Revolution introduce us to a diverse group of doctors, nurses, and health care professionals who are transforming the way we receive our medical care: lowering costs by placing the patient at the center of their practice. OR----you can go watch HBO just dissect and destroy the Scientology movement in what I understand to be a incredibly well done documentary on Scientology. Take your pick, I think they both would be worth your time to watch.

  16. A family friend of mine of 47 years just passed from Cancer and she was my mothers best friend of 67 years. Her loss is truly felt in our family. CANCER CAN GO SUCK A BIG BAG OF DONKEY BALLS.
  17. Get your pitchforks and clubs out...arkansas just signed the same religious freedom law that indiana did. Gov of ark said he would sign it. Why arent we up in arms over the kansas and missouri and illinois versions of these laws which i believe i read are nearly identical as well?

  18. Feeling down and sad. My family friend of 47 years Judy Mansfield passed away last night from cancer. She was a phenomenal teacher, mother, friend to my parents and all around good woman. Keep her family in your prayers today and in the days ahead.

  19. Ok, what runs through the mind of a 55 year old man that even remotely makes him think it's OK to take a young lady from her home, put her in your truck, drive her from her family and then take her across not only one, not two, not three but 6 or even 7 state lines. What makes you think that it's ok to take her away from the home that she lives in? What in your tiny little world makes it OK to take a 13 year old girl at any time? Mr Vallea you are a a FREAKING MORON and a scumbag. It does...
