Thank you for your responses. I currently live in Arizona and I am going to be going to school for my EMT-B, but I am basically willing to move anywhere. I am just trying to see who has what and then plan from there. I just wanted to see what might be available and then go from there. Thank you for your responses.

Hello my name is Chris and I came across this site on accident, but have quickly become an avid fan of it. I had a quick question, does anyone know where I can be a stand-alone emt, as being a firefighter is not an interest of mine. The only place I have come across is NYC fire department, where you work for the fire department but the firefighter and emt or medic jobs are completely seperate of each other. I know I am going to have to keep looking at major cities and that is fine, but I just hope I don't have to do an internet search of every major city in the U.S. to find out. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
