Cons? Helicopters not always available. Helicopter EMS is most dangerous EMS transport. The cost of a HEMS call is enormous to the company, the patient, and the community.

I agree with others, I would have gotten a nursing degree first. My degree as a medic took me nowhere. Anyway...I'd practice my assessments, because that's what it's all about.
