    Usually they make up worse vitals to get you there faster. Anycase, how long of a time between the nurses vitals and yours? What kind of history did she have? Was there anything to suggest this could have been a rapid onset? Remember, in America you investigate to prove innocence. Not guilt.

    Water doesn't burst into flames! Although, I have heard of departments requiring water tankers to respond with traffic 100% of the time.

    Just because there is no pre-reqs, doesn't mean you shouldn't take them. If I started a Medic course, I would require at the very least English, Math, Chemistry, Biology, at the 102 level. Also history/civics classes. I also wouldn't accept anyone with EMT-B, not because they are EMT's but because the fresher the fish, the better! Oh, I would put you through some Sophmore level journalism courses as well.

    I didn't know there were only FF I classes? I have never seen a class offered that wasn't FF I/II. Just go the whole way, in the scheme of life it doesn't take much longer, and you will have more knowlege, and another line to your resume.

    That sounds like something California would outlaw. You should run the truck on solar power while idling. A small (2000gal) fuel truck seems like it may be your best outfit. Do they have any farming co-ops out there? Make contact with them and see what they use for their fuel delivery.
