  1. Why are we willing to put the thousands of dollars into training: Taser Training Weapon Retention Evasive Manuvers Hand to Hand Combat Restraint Liablity Then the thousands of dollars into extra liability insurance. Not to mention the headlines "EMT KILLS SUBJECT WITH TASER" I know no death has been attributed soley to a taser... but the media will say other wise. Seems like that money could be used on other things. More education, QA, better equipment. But what do I know. EDIT: The training I listed, is the training at a minimum I would require my people to have if they carried Tasers. And I know that right there is 2 - 4 weeks at the police acadamey.
  2. Assuming you meant Taser.... If you are not comfortable carrying or using one, stop asking about them. You don't need them.

  6. Something I just thought of as well. If its a hospital based system, which any of Dust's will be, they all have these fancy proximity cards/magnetic strip cards that you need to gain entry...
  7. I am down for the small logo. As far as ID's go... just have a name badge on a clip. At situations when it is needed, you can clip it on the pocket, every other time just tuck it out of the way in a pocket or in the truck. Badabing badaboom. Identification for places they want it, and classy looking any other time.

  12. Wow. Nothing better to do on a friday night? Kudos on the work!
  13. I have not placed one before. I am sure I have probably had it indicated, but personally, and I don't know if this is true or not, but never having used one, it probably makes me more hesitant to use one. Make sense?
  14. They have those out here in Indiana? I must say where I live the hunting/fishing oppertunities are quite limited.

  18. I belive it is the IRL that has their own traveling rescue team. http://www.indycar.com/pro/tech/101/safety_team.php But IRL is a much more sophisticated sport compared to NASCAR. Hmmm.... Nah, I won't go there.
  19. Because you didn't giggle.
  20. Richard, Is it considered a blessing, or a curse, that more people don't have your sense of humor?
