  1. That is the first time in my tenure here, I have literally laughed out loud reading a post not in "funny section." And it is a rarity to laugh at them!
  2. Anyone can have an ambulance!!!
  3. If you have HIV, would you want to work in an environment that exposes you to infectious diseases everyday? With your compromised immune system?
  4. Or outfit all ambulances like KITT. Real time imagry and advanced computer calculations, knows the exact speed to run an intersection to miss all traffic.
  5. Whats amazing is an EMS provider can harm people in more (or easier) ways then the police.
  6. What about in the country where there is 1/2 mile visablity in every direction?
  7. Is it smart to post that information in a public area? I try and make a concious effort to be descreet about hitting it. I'm sure not everyone else does though. [hr:d98aa0340c] One of our hospitals is that way. Security has to open the garage door to let you in and out.
  8. When its cold or hot out, our ambulance is always running and locked. But there is also a super secret unlock switch on the outside.
  9. True dat. My friend, hopefully, is smart enough espically knowing a paramedic's scope of practice to allow it.
  10. I thought Canadia EMs was better then USA EMS?
  11. What about volunteer ALS? Is it better?
  12. You have to fall through the baggage hold before you fall through open air.
  13. Ruff, I spoke with a commercial pilot that is personal friends of mine and also an EMT. He said their company policy was to have proof of the persons credentials before unlocking the medcial kit. Is it possible this is an airline by airline policy as opposed to FAA policy?
  14. I think the Gastric Bypass from people I know who had it, takes alot of self control. You have to remember you can't eat anything you want. I know someone who did and every month he was off for a week because of it. I have no experience with a lap band. I am not even sure what it is?
  15. You're about as humble as Hillary Clinton is female! Carry on.
  16. Online Badges
  17. I tried telling the electric company once that I volunteered, and it placed a real good feeing in my heart. Then I asked them to forget the months bill and replace it with the same feeling in their heart. She laughed and I thought it was just the feeling coming in to her heart feeling so good and I hung up. That was a cold night....
  18. Take the red pill.
  19. Hey fiznat! Been wondering if you ditched us for another girl
  20. Same area... Different person... [web:739ad57266]http://www.ky3.com/news/local/15846437.html[/web:739ad57266]
  21. I saw a truck yesterday, between the Star of life's and the Maltese Crosses, I don't think you could see out the back window. My car is plain, I don't like attention!
  22. Negative, 105 people who were withheld charcoal died. Compared to 97 people who died that did get charcoal. Eight people in a 4600 person study is 0.1% which is no where near statistically significant. One hundred five people is only 2%. As is the 97 people that died that did receive it.
  23. Just saying, if an entire state recognizes them, it must not be THAT derogatory of a term.
