Good point. They could have all been highly decorated officers or something. But who cares now. Doing good things does not get you a free pass when you do something stupid. Poor example here, but look at Hitler. He did a lot of good things for Germany. Does that clear his name for all the really really terrible things he did? Surely it does not. These cops acted inappropriately to get their jollies off, and pretty much got away with it too, most likely with the "good ole boy" system. All should have been fired for it.

Very unprofessional indeed. The weapon is not "cleared" from what I can see. The magazine is in, but unlcear if it was cocked. Regardless of that, it's still unprofessional. As Wendy already stated about department rules and what not, no need to repeat what she said. Sure, it might be fun to do things like that, guys will do almost anything to get attention from women. Even if that means using your "job" or "uniform" to get them pay attention to you. Having a female pose for a picture isn't all that bad. Having them holding what appears to be a loaded assault rifle sitting on the hood of a police car half naked (even though she does look good) is unprofessional. If you went to take pictures like that, get it cleared with the department and proper channels and do it the right way. As for this happening with EMS stuff, same goes. It's putting out a bad "image" for the department or whomever you are working for.

If you don't know the difference between a lightning bug and a bumble bee... then just wow. Everyone knows lightning bugs glow. My 18th month old niece knows that. "Unkie unkie ightnig bug!!" as she is hold it in here hand.

Why not just call your ems/fire/police dispatch offices non-emergency number and have them send animal control? Or I dunno... look in the phone book for the number?

as 4c explained, its as simple as contacting your local EMS office and requesting a new one. Be prepared to have you name cert number and address on record to give them.

Not that I agree with anything they stand for or any other hate group does, because I don't! But isn't it just as wrong for others to look down upon them when they are doing something "good"... not to sound hypocritical or anything, but seriously.

anyone else watch the live feed of that standoff in Westwood? I laughed almost the whole time. 8+hrs and they did nothing but toss in tear gas... only to be foiled by closed windows when they maced it. Foiled again by locked door. One robot falls over... come on really? LAPD pulls people out of their cars all the time.
