twitter was cool when it first started out. now it's annoying like everything else such as myspace and facebook. I haven't checked my twitter in months. Last time I did, people were updating their crap like 10 times every hour... very annoying. If you want to know what I am doing, call me.

Verbalize load and go the moment in your assessment you realize that it is one. Don't say they can wait if they can, just go on with what you are doing. If they need to go NOW, say so. This goes for any scenario. Yes, a basic can take PHTLS/BTLS a lot of services require it. As for more advanced course, such as ACLS, and PALS, you can take them for the knowledge, but probably won't get certified for be allowed to do any of the advanced skills. It would be mainly a course for you to get a better understanding of the procedures so you can be more familiar with the operations when/if you ever are put in the situation at work/volunteer.

Opinion are what discussions are about. Talking about things, and people talking about how the feel about whatever the topic may be. Anyone going into a tactical situation without the means to protect themselves is plain silly. No matter what the situation is! That's why the police bring patients to us, that's why firefighters bring patients to us. They are trained and equipped to go into those situations. A SWAT Medic may be trained in it, but they aren't properly equipped in this case.

There are numerous programs out there that do this already. epocrates is fast for me on my palm. I have no issues and its a powerhouse of information. Lacks some stuff, but it's amazing for it being FREE. Medical Wizards also makes a bunch of programs. More geared towards specific fields. I use this also, and it too, rocks. If you want to go forth and making your program, good. Go for it! take into account what everyone else has, and improve on it. If you need help with ideas and such, let me know.

They can just get more ratings by exploiting this death. You can't deny he was a great performer back in the day. The whole boy touching thing got him a lot of media too. They media are scum (most) and thrive on this stuff. Someone dying always gets more attention than a good deed. So, in this case, his death has more to gain from the news because of his past. I'm happy it is this way. Farrah deserves the respect to be left alone.

Well, think about this. Since the media is swarming over MJ's death, at least Farrah's friends and family can mourn in peace without the news camera up their asses.
