  1. no, let the people discuss it and see if someone can figure it out. next time, post a scenario in the scenario section though. people get upset when you post in the wrong place for some reason
  2. no, I was just confused because of where you posted the topic that's all.
  3. I was just being a smartass I am sticking with it being a bundle branch. btw, those using firefox.. if you press the ctrl and + it "zooms" in. you can get a nicer view of the strip using it. (ctrl and - will zoom you back out)
  4. well, I don't want to cheat or anything, but when you enlarge the picture, it's labeled pacer-1.jpg
  5. when was his last drink? I'm willing to bet it's alcohol related. Seizure from not having a drink for awhile.
  6. 144 mg/dl = 8 mmol/l and normal BGL is is roughly 70-120mg/dl according to text books.
  7. do you want us to figure it out or are you going to tell us? This section is for discussion of EMS stuff. If you want to discuss what happened, go ahead. If you want us to figure out what is going on with the patient, please move it to the scenario section.
  8. To stay qualified as an AHA BLS instructor, you have to teach so many hours or assist in so many every 2 years. You have to re-cert just like everyone else. Making you take the BLS course and re-cert instructor is just retarded. I would call the AHA and ask them. Berks/Schuylkill Building A, Suite #10 25 Stevens Lane West Lawn, PA 19609 phone: (610) 678-8871 fax: (610) 678-8845 should be the local contact for you in Reading. I am in Schuylkill.. I understand your pain in their ignorance. I have been trying to get info on a BLS instructor course from them for awhile.
  9. looks like it is just the "look what all we have done and how much of it, pat us on the back" I didn't read it all, just skimmed. Looks like a decently busy place, good job.
  10. I would refuse to transport the patient due to not having the proper capabilites to do so. If like medic_texas said, the hospital might let you borrow the pump for the transport. It's not like you are going to steal it.
  11. anyone can a 12 lead course
  12. Great info, glad someone took the time to explain rather than just say to go read a book. More people need to be helpful like you.
  13. Those books come highly recommended by many people. I have not yet had the chance to read over the 12 lead yet, but it is on my list of things to do. Here is a direct link to their site to see what else they have to offer. Lots of other free info on there too. http://www.12leadecg.com This is also another amazing book to learn EKG
  14. This is why admin made a "download" section. People can upload files for others to download and utilize, and learn from
  15. there are plenty of them in this scenario section. just read them over. think about what you would want to do or ask before you scroll down further
  16. how cute
  17. Aside from looking at how much you get paid in these areas, you also have to consider how much the cost of living is in these places too.
  18. yay!
  19. That is what a forum is. It's a chat but not real time. You debate things, have conversations and just have a good time. People debate things in real life conversations, they get off topic in real life conversations. Topics will be brought up numerous times because people want to discuss things, again. People often talk about the same thing, all the time.
  20. not very accurate. lemme track down a website I used in the past that is run by the gov't and will list avg salaries by state and profession www.payscale.com is a good site www.salary.com www.monster.com
  21. probably.. seems like propaganda to me
