I am an newly-minted EMT-B, starting Medic school in fall. I have a degree in Medical Assisting and Medical transcription, and got sick of waiting to start RN clinicals last winter, so I went to EMT school and fell in love with it. My husband, who was also my best friend, was killed in a car accident on his way to work when our daughter was 5 months old. She is 5 now, and the center of my existence! =) I am an avid horseback rider, and a complete adrenaline junkie. I am passionate about the EMS field and can't wait to learn more.
