hi, I'm an EMT student and I'm starting my patient contacts. On my patient contact forms there is a line that is listed as subjective assessment. What is that and what are some examples of what i should put there because I'm not really sure. Would I put something like: patient complains of chest pain that started about an hour ago that radiates to their jaw. Or is that line for something completely different. Thanks.

I recently tested and failed the State PM test, only bc I have used up the chances for the NREMT. I had a question that stated the folowing. Pulseless, male patient, with a bp 120/80 and R 18. Which drug is most appropriate. Choices: Vasopressin, Adenosine, Epineprhine, atropine. Now I was taught in all of my classes that you cant have a bp with out a pulse. There was no rhythm strip, and other information given. I ooked at this question for over 10 mins during my test. Any ideas as to what it could have been for an answer?

I'll be starting at Portland Community College shortly in the EMT program, any EMTS/Paramedics have any advice for this area after graduation? I'm very passionate about becoming an EMT, done a lot of research, not worried about pay, but I wish to work in an ambulance and to stay in oregon, any thoughts?
