My first call

First call was on clinicals for EMT-B. Just a transfer, but later that night we had a call for a P-1 fall victim. Pt was a 16month old little girl who fell from the first floor to the basement threw a heating return air duct. She was fine except for some contusions.

First medical P-1 was for an overdose. Paramedic gave him some Narcan and he was fine. Went from Smurf to pink in about a minute or so.

First major trauma was this past monday. Self inflicted GSW to the head. Had to use a canoe to get to him!

First after Basic was a Hyperventilation at a hair salon.... First after Paramedic was a ear ache....

First after joining my squad was dog bite. Multiple contusions of the hand RMA.

First call that I drove the rig for was chest pain. No arrest but an ALS intercept nontheless.

First call as a EMT was a stroke. ALS was with us on scene, patient was doing good in the ED when we left.
