That's not true, it wasn't JUST a fact stated. That's a cop out answer and playing games. There's more than just the words spoken.

I think I'll go tell a coworker she has a great set of tatas and I'd love to see them. When asked to explain myself, I'll just say I was stating a fact on the person's physical traits.

Then you translate what I was nice in even calling a preschool communication attempt. If this person communicates at that level there is no wonder the city he was at did not hire him, if I got that right. How did you get all the way to talking about a female fellow professionals physical attributes, from me pointing out that persons communication level?

Yeah, Larry's post, right?

I was just getting that vibe of correcting behavior with a hint of superiority the way he posted. Just remind him of grammar....unless it's an ongoing problem with him and I missed some hx.

Maybe there was none and I was imagining it.

Anthony I think Spenac was commenting on the punctuation/grammar in the post above mine. I swear sometimes I feel like a translator between you two.

If thats the case it seems what we have here is a failure to communicate.

I wanted an obvious example where someone stated a fact, but it still didn't justify saying because of what it meant (harassment in the example I gave. And demeaning [in my opinion in] the reply to Larry in this case).

It's not even that big of a deal, but I was trying to address the issue that's been brought up a few times about not resorting to harshness with others.

Sorry Anthony I did not get your point about superiority till now. You are right I should have been gentler for the first time correction.

I appreciate it. Just felt like I should say something seeing as the thread itself is about EMS Arrogance haha.

PS, Everytime someone says ESQUIRE, I think of Bill & Ted:

Well I've been called an arrogant something or another on here before  , but in real life most people like to work with me.

Oy, POTUS?

President Of The United States!

That is one patient, no matter who holds the office, that I would definitively NOT want to have, due to a whole big loadup of issues, too numerous to mention here!

Some folks say that I'm egotistical.

Hell I don't even know what that means.

I guess it has something to do with

the way that I fill out

my skin tight blue jeans.

But, back to Mr. Larry... if "giving back" to your community is your true motivation, what stopped you? So they didn't like you at the volly corps? What stopped you from volunteering to drive a school bus? What about cleaning offices at city hall? Cutting the grass at the courthouse? Picking up trash at the parks? Putting away books at the library? Visiting people in nursing homes? Did it ever occur to you to "give back" in any other way than being an EMT? If I were that motivated to "give back" to my community, I wouldn't sleep until I found a way to do it. Perhaps you were motivated by less altruistic reasons?

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
