pull out ramps were in vogue aobut 10 years ago it;s all powered wedge folders or tailifts nows - priarily becasue a pull out ramp has manual handling operations risks in in self 9 bending, twisting, ulling it out hile bent over and walking backwards ..._

But I guess so with many people willing to work for free or on the cheap services will never spent money for anything that can protect workers.

I think it has more to do with the seemingly greedy EMS Suppliers and Manufacturers. Compare catalogs, even new and old. Over a ten year span in our supply catalog bin, prices on commonly used items went up in Moore, Dyna-Med, EMS-A, Life-Assist, Bound Tree. It wasn't until more recently that we began buying "Economy by the case", i.e. Dukal, etc.
