Yes, it looks like I will be moving on to other aspects of nursing. I have had a great year plus of flight experience, met some great people, and have had great learning opportunities. I still plan to fly part time if possible.

At present I will be working as a "Nurcenary" and selling out 13 weeks of my life to the ER who pays the most. :)

Nurcenary! What a fantastic name! :) Gotta love that.

Matthew, did you know where you might be looking to move stateside? I can give you some info on CO flight services (although I'm a ground-bound basic, I'm a good info fetcher!)

Flight medic school is at Ft Rucker, "Mother Rucker", in sunny,hot, southern Alabama. The school is four weeks long and has a correspondence course requirement before you get there (it is testable material, hint, hint). The course content is aeromedical physiology and all those cool card courses rolled into one (ACLS, PEPP, etc..). If aplogize if I am over-simplifying but that is about it. I do believe that you will find it informative at the least.
