I would like to know how users of this device manage the batteries. We are currently changing the battery once per shift to ensure fully charged battery in the device. Does this differ from procedures used by other users?

I was told by the ZOLL rep that the batteries have a 100 charge life cycle - meaning 100 charges and you are out a battery. One of the batteries I was shown had a battery strength indicator on the end - do yours?

Yes but to ensure a fully charged battery this procedure was adopted. We are 30 mins. from the hospital. I was wondering if this was required.

I raised questions to the Rep as to why they did not have a 110V option for these for in hospital or in ambulance with inverter - I suggest you do the same!

As long as you have your spare battery, I am sure you will be fine. I don't know the exact specifics but the type of battery they use will hold a charge for quite some time.

We were told that we need to rotate them after each use and to check the battery charge indicator on a weekly basis between uses. we left one in the spare holder in the case for 1 month before it showed enough discharge to require a trip to the charging station.
