Megan780 Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I've been doing some research. It's the funniest, and grossest thing I've ever seen; turducken. What do you guys think of it. I saw a few pictures, and I almost vommited. http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&...sa=N&tab=wi
bethea Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 [/font:5a892611fc] Gross , one of the pics looks like a brain , no ,don't think I will be trying that
spenac Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 John Maddens favorite thanksgiving meal. Never tried it. Only for the rich. I can barely afford a chicken, much less the rest.
ERDoc Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 I try to avoid eating anything with the word 'turd' in it.
chbare Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 I rather like them. Had one with shrimp and crawfish stuffing over thanksgiving. Quite tasty IMHO. Take care, chbare.
Eydawn Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 As my father put it, 2 good ol' boys must have been drinking out in the crawdad boat and one says to the other... " I got this here great idea for Thanksgiving! Here's what you do... you take a duck... n' shove it up a chicken's ass... then you take that bastard and shove it up a turkey's ass... stick some fillin' in there... and bake the sucker for 15 hours! Don't that sound like the best idear ever?" Never tried it. May some day, but yes, it is a dish for the more well off. Look at all the weird stuff that rich people eat! Fish spawn, raw fish, cheese that smells like it came out of a teenage boy's gym socks, goose livers... come on now! Wendy CO EMT-B
chbare Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 http://www.cajuncreations.com/detail.aspx?ID=83 You can get a nice four pound turducken roll for $30.00, not exactly "rich mans" food. Take care, chbare.
Just Plain Ruff Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 this idea of a chicken, duck and turkey just sounds so disgusting. It looks like something that you find in a 5 week old used suction container.
unknown Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 That just aint American........... :pukeright: :pukeleft:

Take care, chbare. $30 for 4 pounds, that there is what I call rich people food. I can buy a bag of beans and eat for a week on a dollar. On a good week make some cornbread and rice for variety.
