Babies having babies that is just so sad but seems to be the trend the youngest we have had is 12 yo. That was really sad

DCFS advised us of an 11yr. old that was pregnant saying that she was, of course, high risk. Just to let us know what to expect if called on her. I believe she lost the baby right at the beginning of the second trimester.

...I arrived at a house to find a local crackhead lying in the bathroom with the kids head already out. We finished the delivery and transported. Come to find out this was the first baby of the year and since it was 01/01/2000 of the melinuim in our county. The hospital we were employed at had all sorts of gifts and a big horah for the first baby of the century so when we arrived we were met by the house supervisor who instructed us to keep this hush, hush since this was a crack baby and they wanted this to go to a child that came from different circumstances. A few days later I saw a happy family in the local paper showing off their "melinieum baby" and thought if they only new.

ROFL! That's beauty!

I've had two, one boy, and one girl. The first one, boy, was a transfer I should have refused to take. Mother snowed with meds from sending hosp, baby born a mile from receiving. Didn't make it. Learned my lesson to get ALL the info before transport.

2nd one, girl, 911 call 28 mi from hosp. Normal cephalic birth. Everything went great.

When a multgravita OB says the baby's coming, you'd better look because it is. Never heard of stork pins. Would love to have them.

No babies in my rig, All of our OB pts. get the asprin protocal. Place an asprin between her knees and tell her not to drop it until we get to the hospital!.

Wasn't that that was the protocol for preventing pregnancy in the first place?
