I've had a few.

The one that immediately comes to mind is when we had two shark bites in the same town, about two hours apart. That was an interesting shift :)

It's interesting because they are landlocked!

Quite a few...I usually find out a few days later. Didn't realize how many people watch the morning news....I honestly never do, so wouldn't know otherwise unless it was an obvious incident with camera in your face (I really feel like shin kicking some of those camera men sometimes...)

I'm all for accomodating the media and cutting them some slack. But if they are literally, physically in your face with a camera, they're either a complete idiot or a paparazzoid amateur freelancer. There is a reason those lenses cost $20k. They don't need to be anywhere near your face to get the shot. So yeah... feel free to kick them.

We had a crew make the news recently with a charity run. A hospice patient's dying wish was to visit his newborn triplet grandchildren in the NICU. He was picked up, taken to the hospital, visited the family, and returned. News crews were there the entire time.
