Observe abdomen for ecchymosis, bowel sounds? Last bowel movement, last oral intake.

History of pregnancy? Surgery? Chance of pregnancy? When was last menstrual period?

Any associated vaginal bleeding?

Which quadrant is pain located in? Pain upon palpation? Anything make it better or worse?

Pain scale, 0-10 what is it rated?

Meds? Vitals...

Pt is in a residence sitting at the dinning room table. She is obviously pregnant. Alert and oriented but her speech is slurred. She appears to be in no respiratory distress. Her skin is warm, flushed and moist, and she has her hand on her head. Pt tests positive for humanity.

I would certainly ask which trimester the pregancy is in.

HX of hypertension?

Current vitals including B/P?

Any vaginal discharge? Any vaginal pressure?

Weeks into pregnancy? Any previous pregnancy's? Any problems there? Definitely want to give a stroke test to rule it out, (Facial Droop, Equal Grips, Slouching to one side, Slurred Speech). Any vaginal bleeding? Vitals?
