I consider myself a decent EMT, but, without the proper training of a paramedic, to assume paramedic duties, Inspector "Dirty" Harry Callahan, of the San Francisco Police Department said it best

So easy a basic could do it.

If I were a paramedic under his command I would demand he be fired for insulting my profession. If not fired I would resign. No one with any self respect would tolerate being talked down about like that.

but they wonder why they keeep getting sued &why pts complain ???

& yes it seems politically motivated which is pathetic when pt care is SUPPOSED to come FIRST

& honestly i dont see basics handling als calls all that well theyre not trained for it properly hence why medics complete the training ...

If this guy ever loses his job (which he should have years ago), at least he has a bright future awaiting him in DC.
