Well, I can speak with a friend currently in their employ and let you know what he has to say... are you actually trying to make a point here? Denver Health EMS is busted, much like so many around the nation. What makes our bust different? What's so special about Denver Health EMS taking a nosedive?

Been a while since you worked there I see from one of your last posts... care to comment on your opinion now?

Yep you ever reports what the Paramedic division does in response times has been padding the books I guess, I have had the pleasure of riding with them and They respond as soon as they get a call and take the short ways there, in a safe manner, those could be dispatch mistakes? But Yeash they got busted by the local media

CBEMT posted this article in another forum and fits well here too....

http://www.westword.com/2008-06-05/news/de...rgency-response

It covers a few aspects of the problems.... response time issues.... lack of available units... personnel morale..... inadequate management.....

Sounds like most metropolitan areas, including my own. I read the Channel 7 article on Denver EMS, and I feel the same pain those paramedics feel every time I clock in at work.

Welcome to chat.

It is a sad state the shape EMS all over is in. Maybe they will miss us when we are gone.
