BEorP Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 Since we have this forum I thought that it might be an interesting place to discuss some of the things that we each would like to do before we die. For anyone who has already taken the time to write out a list some of the items are probably personal, but I'm sure there are some interesting ones to share that you'd be comfortable mentioning. I'll start with a few of the things I would like to do: - Drive across the county. - Fast for a day. - Take a picture for a news organization. - Lecture to a university class. - Get stuck in an elevator. - Run a marathon. - Have a rooftop picnic. - Learn a good card trick. - Blow a bubble with gum. - Spend a week completely alone. - Try dipping Wendy's fries in a Frosty. Things that were on a past list that I have since completed: - Go skydiving. - Learn to drive standard. - Be a subject in an experiment. - Walk on the Great Wall of China. - Go to Hawaii. - Fly first class. - Go to the Grand Canyon Anyone else care to share?
Chief1C Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 Try dipping Wendy's fries in a Frosty. I've done that.. It's good. Original frosty though, not the new flavors.
Upton4785 Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 1. Go Skydiving 2. Go back to Germany (born there, but I don't remember any of it, left when I was 18 months) 3. Visit GB/England (like a true American, I don't know what the difference is between the two, but like a true American with British/English heritage, I want to find out) 4. Become a space-tourist (coming up soon, the way technology is going) 5. Be alive when the country completely operates on an alternative source of fuel. 6. See aforementioned alternative source of fuel priced at a wallet-fattening $1.79 a gallon/other unit of measurement. 7. Visit Alaska. Like REALLY northern Alaska. 8. Become a superhero, powers and all. (a guy can dream, can't he?) 9. Rescue one wild animal at least 10. Die sexy.

firedoc5 Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 I really can't think of anything now, but I can share what I wanted to do in my younger years, which I still haven't done. 1. Join the Mile High Club. 2. "Make out" with a nun. 3. Live in a Sea Lab. Remember the old cartoon Sea Lab 20/20? 4. Be in the Olympics. Winter games: Bob Sledding, Summer games: Almost anything. 5. Be a helicopter pilot.
scott33 Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 1. Live long enough to enjoy a long retirement. 2. Visit many Countries (too numerous to mention) 3. BASE jump Baffin Island 4.
