never said I got an A in spelling now DID I :?: :?:

But I also didn't see any reference in admission requirements of the school a spelling test. I think that a spelling test is an integral part of any admission process. If you can't spell then there needs to be a class they take for spelling. I truly dislike spelling errors, not saying I'm perfect but some spelling errors should never happen.

Problem Oriented Mathematics 100:

This course is designed to provide the health sciences major student with the background required to successfully use math in the health care environment. Linear algebra, statistics, proportions, and complex problem solving scenarios using math are primary topics of study.

The POM class would focus on many aspects of stats. Mean, median, mode, and standard deviations would be included among other functional aspects of stats.

Take care,

chbare.

I got an A in statics I am a nerd

Bah! I missed an A in my statistical concepts class by 2%. I'm still a bit sore about it. Oh well, I should have done better on that final project.

"I don't believe that in any of the classes listed in the contest there was even a remote mention of statistics classes."

One of those math classes should touch upon some basic statistical concepts... but from a critical thinking standpoint, it's probably worth making everyone take a complete course in it. You certainly develop a healthy sense of skepticism when you hear politicians and their talking heads start throwing around statistics on the nightly news. If being a more well-rounded person doesn't do it for you, from an EMS perspective it will give you the fundamentals needed to know how perform your own sample studies in your system - very useful if you want to examine a potential protocol change and how it impacts patient outcomes.

I must have missed that Chbare. You are correct. I just re-looked at your curriculum

The winner of the contest is Chbare.

I am still working on who gets 2nd place and who gets third place.

The winner of the shortest class is Spenac. If he could have only got the course down to a week he'd have won the First place prize.

I am proud to announce that by staying all day and night we will complete in 15 days. Still working on a one week. Someday.

I agree Spenac, Chbares curriculum was really really good. The level of detail in his curriculum was excellent.

Thanks Ruffles, for another opportunity to think, and show 'creative solutions' to reach a common goal!
