strippel Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 My partner and I were returning from our first call of the day... rapid afib (220+), hypotensive, and were just blocks from the hospital. In an affluent residential area, a guy wearing a gorilla suit riding a skateboard.
Kaisu Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 was it cold out? cause those gorilla suits can really keep a person warm.
Richard B the EMT Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Can you confirm that it was a guy, and not a gal, in said gorilla suit? Did anyone call the zoo, to see if all their primates are accounted for?
Richard B the EMT Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Is that Chim-Chim, the pet of Speed Racer's younger brother, after he got into the steroids?
strippel Posted July 30, 2008 Author Posted July 30, 2008 It was about 90 degrees, with 100% humidity, so I don't think "it" was keeping warm. As far as the guy vs. gal, didn't take a close look. Could have been. Yes, It did look like that. We have no zoos nearby. Are you missing one in NYC?
itku2er Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Yes, It did look like that. We have no zoos nearby. Are you missing one in NYC? I am not in NYC but I am sure we can hit richard B the EMT up for that answer...
Richard B the EMT Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Last I checked, New York City was not missing a zoo. However, reportedly, some of the carnivores got out of their cages, but when the TV stations called, they couldn't get a spokesman, as, per the telephone operators, The Lion is busy.
