CheekyEMT Posted August 20, 2008 Author Posted August 20, 2008 Awww.....how lucky do I feel to have all of you. You've all left the nicest posts and comments. All I can do is say thanks to each of you , what an amazing family I have found in the city.
Lone Star Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Welcome back Cheeky! Having been on the 'recieving end' of the EMS field, I ca say this with some 'authority': You'll find that after being in the position that you were shoved into, your compassion and empathy for your patient will be greatly increased. As in the 'brotherhood' of law enforcement, and the Fire Service, you, as an EMT (regardless of your level of licensure), belong to a 'family' that extends across state lines and international borders... My prayers for your son, and hopes for a speedy, full recovery for you both! LS
