Saw this on the news this morning. Same thing sort of happened to me one time. But I was so much shorter than him that he 'whiffed' and the cops came flying in.

Well hopefully he will get some time in jail, but probably not because he took a shot a private medic, if he would have swung at the cop or firefighter he would have some time to think about it in a cell.

He'll probably get away with it as justified assualt. I know that paramedics goatee made want to take a swing. :twisted:

The studio reporter said the assailant also left a child unattended in his vehicle. In addition to assaulting the LEO, and the Paramedic Captain, I hope he also gets "Endangering the welfare of a child" for leaving the child alone in the car.
