I spent the morning last saturday playing Santa Clause. Handing out all new Tait portables to our crews. Really nice small pocket sized portables, with all the features of the big names and all thanks to a HLS grant i wrote last year. also got new tait mobiles for our trucks.

Tait is from New Zealand and produce a quality product. :D

All of our radios, sans a few portables, are Monkeyrola, on 154 & 155mHz. We also use our defunct low-band 33mHz system for storms, disaster ops, etc., to free up main dispatch and tactical freqs. Otherwise, we have digital Motorola 1550 mobiles, HT1250 portable radios; and Kenwood TK270 portables. We also have a couple dozen old Motorola HT 600's, 800's, and 1000's from the low band era.

Campbell's 2-way delux.

Definitely. The broccoli cheese is my favourite, with the split pea and ham running a close second.

A few GE's but mostly Motorola.

When they were putting in the brand new base radio equipment, the guys doing the installing wanted the old Motorola base for their museum display. They said it was the oldest one they had ever seen that was still working.
