A few MVA's mostly. One had very bad asthma. By the time she was 33 she had 1/3 of a lung removed. Two I know of from fights, but not with me.

Me thinketh you misseth the sarcasm laid upon you.

Nope, I'm just being nice and not wanting to brag.

For those of you who doubt the sincerity of this topic, it is actually a current discussion among physicians at Medscape.com too, so we're in good company.

Since i do not believe in LOVE ........ i say NO ....

ROFL!!!!!!!!111 I love your delicious cynicism. And I share it.

I've fallen in love with a patient's boobs, that's about it.

Plus 5 for honesty. I suppose working on a college campus sometimes has it's benefits! I'm not really a breast man, but there are certainly epic exceptions to the rule.

And the difference? I'm not saying there is none, just want to hear another view.

My definition, which is also the definition of lust versus kinky:

Love is tickling her body with a feather.

Lust is tickling her body with the whole chicken.

But here are how others answered the question:

One of my partners said that he and another guy did a 12 lead on a woman just so that they could see her busty glories. And according to him, they were quite beautiful. This isn't really the norm. That patient was sort of the exception to the rule. I guess it's kind of like wanting to do a 12 lead on Pamela Anderson...and she just called 911 just to get her finger looked at.

And that's where professionalism comes in. :?

Those guys fail.

Having a hott patient is one thing, but I have had a patient that was obviously a good person, funny and cute. Just kind of an "if things were different" scenario.

The 12 lead thing could (should?) get people in a lot of trouble. Ill advised.

Well... I will say this, the agency I used to work for provides cover for the worlds largest casino. So yea, I was around and even treated plenty of cocktail waitresses   I loved working the casino shift... recliners and video games in our office... free food cooked by real chefs and pretty much every sin in the bible going on around me

Back on topic... and cocktail waitresses aside, I have a 100% no bull sh*t polocy on fraternizing with patients or co-workers. Fraternizing with co-workers excludes hanging out with as friends though because Im not that up-tight lol.

(edit): Oh yea and Im married anyways, so I dont get my flirt on outside of that.
