If they made disparaging remarks about his home, and weren’t misunderstood while talking about it in an effort to gather objective data for treatment,

And if they spoke of his 'worth' instead of his viability...

And if they spent time, while he was alive, to get their stories straight justifying allowing him to die, and then lied about it...

And if they did in fact withhold proper treatment, (I saw what they are accused of saying, and that he died, but didn't see specifically that they didn't ultimately treat.)

Then I hope they are fired, humiliated, go to jail, have a very unpleasant time there, and never be allowed to pretend to represent the morals and ethics of EMS again.

It's amazing that the dispatcher (controller) didn't just hang up after Mr. Baker collapsed. That's what most would have done, especially if they were busy.

To me it sounds as if these guys are burned out causing them to be apathetic and noncomplacient. They should have been getting some help prior to this. But I don't know how the British system works.

Despite these guys getting help, they should be fired. Or at least given a time of absence. It's quite evident that they didn't know they were being recorded, but being on a call and talking like that followed by their lack of treatment is criminal.
