I heard a news story on NPR this afternoon... I'll try and find the link but it was with the DC Fire Chief on how they plan to work the event.

thank you, sir, for seeing the question as it was intended.

rest assured, i'm not a threat, just a medic trying to find out information that is PUBLIC - large gatherings, and the logistical nightmare they present, are learning experiences.

i don't think this would be my first stop in trying to find out government secrets.

Mate, the question was not more of questioning your intent, it was more along the lines of... If I had this information and posted it on a public forum for all to see....who is part of "the all to see". Bad guys use the internet ya know.. :)

I was not questioning anyones intent... I understand that like the Papal visit, major sporting events, many EMS folks who do not work these venues on a regular basis are curious about how we prepare....

BUT, having worked the Papal visit in both NYC and DC, several inaugurals and many other NSSE, there is a proper forum to talk about this.

Most of the EMS plans, while not TOP Secret, are designated FOUO, and do not disseminate to the public or press..... The reason for this is or should be obvious...

Terrorists are stealing ambulances, fire trucks police cars and other vehicles and using them to penetrate security.....

All I was saying was LETS NOT GIVE OR PLAY BOOK, or leave it lying around where the other side can see it.

Stay safe,,,,
