Epi IM vs SQ

We have went away from SQ injections, we do IM for both adult and pediatrics when administering Epi 1:1.

Anyone use 0.1mg 1:10 000 I.V. ?

We have an IV option but I would have to double check dosage.

We have the option for Epi 1:10,000 with a dose of 0.1 to 1.0 mg IV or IO for adults and 0.01 to 0.1 mg/kg IV or IO for pediatrics. It's a last ditch though after we've exhausted all our other drug interventions.

Unfortunately, this is one of those things that most in the medical community know and practise. But EMS is always the last to see the trickle-down effect of progress, thanks to the dumbing-down factor. What is really sad is that more medics don't simply figure this out themselves through experience.
