Tubular Bells, Supertramp Breakfast in America, Fleetwood Mac Rumors,

Damn, all three would definitely be in my top 10

Can't narrow it down to 3 here though, as my choice would continually change depending on my mood, but I will throw a few out.

Queen: A night at the Opera, Oasis: What's The Story, Genesis: And Then There Were Three, Dire Straits: Love Over Gold, Alanis Morisette: Jagged Little Pill, The Beatles:The White Album Eminem: The Marshall mathers LP...

The list is endless.

What is interesting is that it is just us old farts that are answering, I am wondering in the age of downloading single songs to your IPOD, if the kids have ever even listened to a whole album by anyone ?
I think when you used the term "album", you through them off.

It really was hard to narrow the selection down to three.

Come on Scott! Narrowing it down to three was the assignment. I do see you problem though. I think I still have all those albums. It is getting harder to find needles  .

I don't think I would be able to live with only three albums. My personal collection holds over 10,000 songs, most of which are included in full albums.

The three that came to me first:

The Beatles - Rubber Soul

Al Kooper - New York City (You're a Woman)

Van Morrison - Tupelo Honey

I don't expect anyone to know anything about Van Morrison outside of Brown Eyed Girl. I don't expect anyone to know ANYTHING about Al Kooper. I hope that anyone over 40 knows who The Beatles were.

Wow, only three???

Lynyrd Skynyrd - "Greatest Hits" (too hard to pick just one Skynryd album influencial in my life)

ZZTop - "Eliminator"

Pink Floyd - "Delicate Sound of Thunder" (also very hard to pick just one album)

In a day or two I might answer this with something else.

Damn, I am having a hard one with this one...I love all music except for rap so its a pretty hard choice for me. I really prefer "classic" rock when you actually wrote a song as to the shit we have on the radio now days. I am 25 but know what 45s,33s,78s are, so not everyone in my generation is musically retarded (for lack of a better word) 8) . My choices are:

1. Lynyrd Skynryd- Greatest Hits

2. George Strait- Strait Out of the Box

3. Anton Bruckner- Complete Works and Symphonies of

Maybe defined your life is abit strong, but I heard this question posed: If you could only take 3 record albums or CDs to the deserted island you would be stranded on, which three would you choose ?

Mine would be:

AC/DC Back in Black

Journey Escape

REO Speedwagon Hi Infidelity or Foreigner 4
