Playset, pool, garden, and patio area. No response to verbal stimuli.

Do have to wonder about toxins with the pool, the garden etc. Both patients similar Just the caller, the backdoor neighbor. He doesn't know what happened. States the kid is alwys getting himself into trouble. Airway still patent Breathing: 20 resp/min. unlabored with good tidal volume Circulation: 130 bpm at carotid Pupils 7mm sluggish BP 148/88 BGL 90 ECG shows sinus tach Were they cooking? Or any lighter fluid around? Do they respond to pain? Breathing, pulse? No cooking or lighter fluid one groans to pain, no response from the other one

Patient info? allergies, medications, history? Call for a second unit if there wasn't one coming. high flow o2 for both patients, IV access

It's Florida in the spring (hot outside). The backyard is as described. No witnesses. Second unit on the way No changes after O2 therapy. IV access made.
FireMedic65 Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 lets run some saline in those IV's 20cc/kg cold packs on back of necks, armpits and groins.. get them inside the ambulance with the a/c on
