Yeh, me thinks not....especially since we haven't recommended or tested people on paddles in quite a long time.

Come on now, what was the real reason.. :):)

They don't tell. It was all I could think of afterward. I was very sick. I'm going over it every spare minute I've got, so whatever it was, hopefully I won't miss it again.

There are pads that aren't already gelled? WTF?

Talking about the paddles, not the quick-pads

Right. My mistake for calling them pads. The machine we test with is antiquated.

Not gelling won't fail you. It's not even mentioned to do so. You failed on something else. Read over your skill sheets carefully and memorize them! Good luck for next time.

yea i dont think the examiner failed you because of not remembering to gel the paddles....its something else. Get your acls book out and restudy it to see what else you may have forgot to do. hope you do well next time, and dont worry about the cbt its only asking for the minimum knowledge required to be a paramedic. study hard.

when in doubt, shock the person into a rhythm you can treat. j/k I think you will do find. you probably have seen how to do the skills a million times. You can do it. I have faith in ya. :)
