Rampage in german school

In an German high school nearby Stuttgart (southern Germany, State of Baden-Wurtemberg) a 17 year old former student opend fire on teachers and students.

Multiple students and teachers were killed. During his getaway the committer also killed an staff member of an psychatric hospital.

Later the committer got involved in an gunfight in an grocery store where three people, including the gunner got killed and two police men were seriously injured.

I don't know if we will ever be able to understand what goes through a person's mind, that makes them decide that this kind of carnage is the right thing to do.

My prayers go out to the families and friends of those who were injured and killed, and to the police and EMS workers who responded.

I have relatives in Stuttgart, so this news item caught my attention as soon as I heard it on TV.

Krumel, keep us informed if you do have to respond, and take care of yourself too.
