island emt Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 By the standards under which I attended school, the 15 year old was probably left back. Should have been in 9th grade. I was already a junior [11th grade] by the time I turned 15. We would have called a 15 yo freshman "SLOW" or turtle brained

And there's the early-birthday kids whose parents hold them back from starting for an extra year because they're not ready to let go. Both of them end up older than the rest of their class. I somehow doubt that either of those apply to our class clown here though.
